open the start…
As always, I opened the browser to start writing about something, anything. So far nothing has crossed my mind. Now I am on third sentence with out a single word of wisdom. After all, I have been writing for some times now and should have the skills to think of something to write about.
I should be able to write about news, ideas, politics and anything I see on the street or on TV; but I cannot. If you have made it this far and you are reading this part, you are lucky one because I am still puzzled as to how I am incapable of writing a meaningful paragraph about something.
Regardless of all, I am still going to post this on the site and force you to read this. I went back on my blog and check couple of months’ writings to see if I can get an idea to write about. I came across this paragraph from April, “I want to know who these people are buying all the houses around the Valley? The average/median price of a house is around $200 thousands now-a-days -and that is just too much. I cannot even come up with the down payment -buying is the furthest thing in my mind.” I wrote this when the property prices were sky rocketing with no end at sight. I can still say the same exact thing about the whole housing market as I did back in April. The prices are still up and there is no guarantee that they will ever come down. Even though the housing market has cool down and I do see a lot of properties still on the market “for sale”, but the prices still remain the same as it was.
The housing market only benefited few and has caused pain for the rest of the population. It benefited those who had money to invest –buy houses for the purpose of making money – and the rest of us –who wanted to buy a house to live in- are suffering because of it. You can call it capitalism or entrepreneurship, but in this system, the poor always gets it hard.
