Why post it on the Internet if it will be used by criminals or other hackers who wish people harm? This link is a story about JavaScript Botnet Code that was leaked on the Internet. The code was written by some dude who wanted to demonstrate the “…Web vulnerability…” using JavaScript. He posted the code somewhere and a consultant with Security Management Partners, Inc. was able to read the URL and copied the code. They he posted it on Digg.com and you know how that story ends.
The point is that why even share, port and even write that code if you know that it can and will be used for criminal purposes. And to post it on the Internet -you just made millions of hackers life easier.

It’s funny when CEO’s of the companies declare to the world the they will only get $1 salary for this year or that. What a pity! As that is a sign that they are giving up the greed and getting paid than he average worker of the company. Does that move suppose to make the grunts feel good about their salaries?
They may as well be getting a dollar salary, but you can ask anyone and everyone that it is a scheme and change the perception and we all know that the bonus at the end of the year will equal to combined salary of all the employees.

I have officially lost my Western Digital 320G external hard drive. I had over 50G of data including pictures, music, videos and various other types of data dating back to 1999. I can certainly take the drive to DataDoctors and have them recover my “lost” data. The problem is I do not posses the kind of money they charge for data recovery.
I was on their Web site yesterday and looking at their prices –the prices start at $350, which is the lowest and might be for recovering data from a floppy disk. Does anyone remember those?
Now I will have just wait till I get lots of money so I can restore my lost data. I can certainly purchase another External Hard drive from amazon.com or ebay.com. I can start from scratch and take another five to ten years to fill the drive and have it crash again. My garden hose lasts longer than that.
How is it that they make an external hard drive big enough to fit the Library of Congress, but no reliable enough to keep your personal data safe for decades –they should warn people about that. Warning: this disk will give up one day without notice. Please back-up your back-up data. In case of emergency, keep a few thousand dollars saved up. You will need it.
