Jennifer Lopez: Jennifer Lopez’s new pop album Brave is set for release on October 9th on Epic Records. This is Jennifer’s sixth studio album and her second release this year. Her first all-Spanish album Como Ama Una Mujer was released in March; it zoomed straight to #1 on Billboard’s Latin Album chart (where it stayed for 4 weeks) while also making a remarkable #10 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. This made history as the highest sales of a Spanish album debut. Como Ama Una Mujer has already sold 800,000 copies worldwide.

Kristi Yamaguchi: One of the most recognized athletes in the world today, Kristi Yamaguchi maintains a hold on America’s heart more than a decade after winning the Olympic Gold Medal at the 1992 Albertville Olympic Winter Games. Space Shuttle Atlantis: A veteran space flier, Navy Cmdr. Stephen N. Frick, commanded the STS-122 shuttle mission to deliver the European Space Agency’s Columbus Laboratory to the International Space Station. Navy Cmdr. Alan G. Poindexter served as pilot. Mission specialists included Air Force Col. Rex J. Walheim, Stanley G. Love, Leland D. Melvin and European Space Agency astronaut Hans Schlegel. The Monkees: The Monkees were a pop-rock quartet created and based in Los Angeles in 1965 for an NBC American television series of the same name. Dog the Bounty Hunter: TMZ is reporting that the Dog is back and the show is going back into production. TMZ also claims the network has confirmed the news. The Chapmans and their manager, Alan Nevins, are mum though and not confirming or denying anything. However, Nevins said, “Dog did not embark upon a ‘tour of forgiveness’. I would categorize it as a ‘tour of understanding.’ Dog went straight to the African American community – the people who mattered in this incident – and made no excuses.
