Finally got those spam comments off my blog. Bastards. I had 10 comments posted here every second. Calculate that. Now 0 comments. I am happy. I am sure the blog and my database is happy.

this should be the first post after a long wait. this was not intentional as i was busy and other priorities came before. but now we are back to where i started the site two or three year ago. i am not sure how long it has been, but i am sure the info is in whois directory. you can check it our and respond.

I ran into a problem of not being able to play FLV on one of the servers. After talking with some experts and thorough research, Here is the solution:

Adding .flv MIME type in IIS

1) Select the site to configure in IIS, right click and select “Properties”
2) Under HTTP Headers Tab, select “File Types” under the MIME Map section and select “New Type”
3) Type “.flv” as the associated extension and “video/x-flv” as the content type.
4) Click “OK”. DONE!
